How about not taking the statins at all. If they had those side effects (which are not all simply related to CoQ10 depletion) – I wouldn’t take them. Clever Suzy wants you to spend more money…
I was one of the ones who had bad side effects while on Zocor. After that, I was not about to go pill popping from one drug to the next. I found the site of Sterolyn , while searching for an alternative to an Rx drug. Spent a lot of time and read about the various options and alternatives. I use Sterolyn, and its absolutely the best around. I believe plant sterols would be a “drug” if they could be sold as such. It is an effective and natural product. I have zero side effects and it works.
On Oprah Dr.OZ said the Only real Q10 is made by Nature Made …They couldnt find Q10 in any other brands .If it wasnt true then Oprah would of gotten her Rich Pants SUED off of her ..I buy only Nature Made …for my Dad ! I love him !
Do be careful with Co-Q10 if you’re on anticoagulation therapy, as Co-Q10 acts like vitamin K in the blood. If you’re on Warfarin and a statin, be sure to tell your pharmacist and doctor about adding Co-Q10 first, because a dosage adjustment MIGHT be necessary. I’ve seen this in the hospital and the community.
