I think the reason why this product may not work so well in your hair is because of your hair type. I am a 3c and this works great in my hair, my curl love it. You look like a 4c so you might need a conditioner that is thicker. But I love this product a highly recomend it to 3c’s
this did nothing for my hair..made my hair dry as well and i left it on for over an hour. I also left it on for a shorter time just to see because sometimes if you leave conditioners on for too long it can be drying…same results..very disappointing.
I have mixed feelings about this product. I always do twist outs & with this product, I don’t have to use gel. It gives me great hold & it really defines my curls. BUT, it also dries out my hair. So, now I use it as a pre-poo just to use it up. I mix it with oils and other conditioners that I don’t like. I won’t be buying this again & I don’t want to take my chances w/any of the other lustrasilk products.
I have used the one with the one with the black top, Lustrasilk Herbal Cholesterol, and it is ok. I notice that it softens best afer I have washed my hair so that the product will go into the hair shaft/ folical. Try that one next time.
i guess that could have happened, but i have also used it as conditioner that i rinsed out quickly for a co- wash and i got nothing…lol! i just dont think i will buy it again. i dont know….maybe my hair didnt like all the cholesterol or something…..or maybe i am too picky with products :)!
ive noticed that if i leave something in my hair for an hour instead of the 5 or 10 minutes that its supposed to be on it leaves me w/ dry hair. maybe thats what happened?

I use it on dry hair then rinse out with Hair One or a clarify conditioner. Works good for me. I think using it with shampoo dries ur hair out more.
i use it as a leave in moisturizer it works better that way. For deep conditioning you need a thick and creamy product that can also detangle.

its too thin! Try it for dentangling.. its SO GOOD!
