Little bit o’ Ireland in this song. Get rid of the “Metallica = thrash metal” stereotype, and enjoy the great songwriting, which all Metallica albums have.
Metallica is the greatest band to ever grace this earth. Mostly all bands have album filler songs but you never get that with Metallica. You can listen to their albums all the way through and never skip a song. This song is very underated, it’s one of my favorites from them.

this song is badass to listen to while driving at night when its snowing/lotsof snow everywhere, and the trees looks beautiful covered in snow. maybe its just me.
and yes.. am not 40+ or 50+.. am 20, but respect music..and know what it is..though not a musician..but been a listener at least for over a decade now..lol..
i just can not like those who want fame from something as great as MUSIC.
LOOVED their album ‘reload’.. but its kinda strange to see..that such a track is soo much under-viewed…while kiddos are watchin nerds like jonas, bieber or miley.. in hundreds of million.. i mean..where the hell is the respect for legends??
listen at the very start… “one, two, three, one!” James’ counting just makes this song more awesome than it already is. This song is perfect to listen when you’re sad. The lyrics are just perfect.
And coz my special dog kane listened to this song everyday when i drink with my friends and i know hes in heaven coz he has never did anything wrong to anyone. But at the time i woz arrested if he woz realeased then he would have killed those cops. Dats how rodation ridgebags are coz they are born hunters. But too late coz wots gone cant be taken back no matter how i win the court case against the cops and the courts in california. Let this be a lesson to u all my friends.. takecare.
My dogs wet said da dog died from a hartattack coz da dog missed me and also mainly coz da dog saw me bein takenaway and since it woz tiedup it couldnt do anything but cry. My dogs tears woz still frozen between his eyes when it woz taken to the doc by my friends and my brother. So i filed a case and i won da case coz da cops took me for no reason but i gave all that money to 1 dog pound close to where i live. I still cry when i listen 2 this song coz of that. and
Da truth is i woz arrested a few months back for sumthin i didnt do and i woz realeased in 24 hours. But 1 of my dogs named Kane wz a rodation ridgebag is da 1st puppy i got when his mum died at birth and im da 1 who gave him milk from a bottle and then it thought me as his mum. It hapens to dogs coz i cared for the dog alot other than all my 3 dogs and when i woz arrested it took only 3 hours for the dog 2 dit of a hartattack. My doge wet said.. And
