I just read that George H.Bush & Dan Quayle with ties to Eli Lilly fast tracked rDNA synthetic insulin through the FDA & then the Bush administration tried to limit the public’s ability to sue drug companies. The profits from synthetic rDNA insulin affords the powerful to purchase new cars for their children, while we, the parents of diabetic children, are left to buy coffins or worse for our children, because we are forced to buy defective insulin in America. Greed and arrogance kill.

What’s more that same goes for pork (pigs), lamb, and chicken, although chickens and pigs are omnivores, so it is not as big of a problem. What is a problem is the way chickens and pigs are raised, for the animal to produce the most nutritious meat, it needs to be allowed to exercise, and not be cooped up where it cannot even turn around. The fats from properly raised meat animals are not bad for us at all.

I have recently been enlightened by a book called “Real Food”. The problems with ‘saturated fats’ are that the animals producing them are fed bad diets. For instance cows fatten up on corn and grain, because they cannot metabolize them properly. These foods cause chronic illness and imbalances, in cows which are offset by adding hormones, antibiotics (and possibly) barbiturates to their diets. This radically alters the makeup of fats from a cow in ways that are very unhealthy to us.

What this nice video leaves out is WHY the insulin stops working!! That IS the problem, and the reason is primarily trans-fats, anything hydrogenated or worse ‘partially hydrogenated’. Why? Because some of the hydrogenated fat molecules are mistakenly used by your body to build cell walls, the receptors built like that break instead of allowing glucose (sugar) to be metabolized. The situation worsens over time. The cure?! Avoid processed foods. For best health eat organic and natural foods.

The only insulin sold in America is Synthetic DNA insulin which doesn’t have c-peptide which prevents diabetic complications even with good control. Only the natural pork & beef insulin has c-peptide in it which you have to have imported from Cananda or England. My son is back on natural pork insulin. Drug companies profit from the complications their inadequate insulin causes, by selling more medications. Some people refer to synthetic insulin as murder for profit insulin or poor man’s insulin.
