Celazome Skin – a national skincare company based in St. Petersburg, Florida – has an unorthodox method for growing sales… and it’s working.

A division of Dermazone, Celazome Skin has been in operation since 1999 and is a woman-owned and operated business with a long-standing mission to support business women.  Recently the company became a national sponsor of eWomen Network, one of the largest networking organizations for women in the country.  As part of that commitment, all purchases of Celazome Skin products by eWomen Network members generate a donation to the eWomen Network Foundation. The women of the Celazome Skin executive team also attended the recent eWomen Network International Conference and Business Expo in Dallas, Texas.

The results have been phenomenal.  Not only have sales increased, but over eight thousand dollars has already been raised in cooperation with the local Tampa eWomen Foundation.

“Women from all over the country stopped by our booth to tell us how much they loved our product,” says Carolyn Veroni, Director of Business Development of Celazome Skin.  “It went so much farther than simple skincare.  It was about putting faces and stories to what the products have done for these women.”

With a skincare line that includes pharmaceutical grade moisturizers, lotions and treatments the testimonials Celazome has received since reaching out to the business women have been powerful to say the least.  Cancer patients, burn victims and nurses from around the country have shared their experiences about how their lives were essentially transformed by minimizing scarring and reducing soreness.

Celazome President Deborah Duffey explained how the company is taking their strategy to the next level.  “With the power of the Internet we are now able to reach beyond the doctors’ offices and truly connect with these women.  We recently launched a state-of-the-art eCommerce store and an aggressive social media campaign.  We are really focusing on reaching out to the amazing faces of the women on Facebook.”

Being a savvy business woman herself, Duffey is quick to point out that they are not abandoning traditional methods of reaching out in favor of the new technology.  She says that the executives at Celazome Skin are passionate about being active community members in Tampa Bay, and have a long history of supporting local charities that raise funds and awareness for women’s and children’s issues.  Most recently the team has participated in the 11th Annual Walk/Run to benefit Ovarian Cancer and was a sponsor of the Moffitt Skin Care Awareness “Mole Patrol” event.

The 20th century retailing tycoon, John Wanamaker, said “half of my advertising doesn’t work. I just don’t know which half.”

The odds are even worse in skin care products–the creams and lotions that claim to clear, lift, firm, tighten, and correct your complexion. Less than 50% of the products you put on your face actually help you look younger. Fewer than that are worth what you pay for them.

Why are skin care products so confusing? Why is there so little brand loyalty? Part of the problem is that the last 20 years have brought a tsunami of new skin care products, new ads, new claims. The splashy advertising, the celebrities and the offers combine to produce instant hype. Every new product promises a new “advance” or “technology” or “significant improvement”. Because this revolution is so new, everyone–retailers, consumers, dermatologists, editors–are struggling to figure it out.

Some cosmetics companies like it that way. They invent funny names for molecules. They retouch the living daylights out of those unretouched ads. They cleverly (yet legally) manipulate the copy. These deceptive practices are called “smoke and mirrors”– the metaphor for deceptive or fraudulent practices. The term was first invented to describe the way in which magicians could make objects appear or disappear by using mirrors amid a sudden burst of smoke. It’s clever, but also deceptive.

It works for magicians, and it works for the skin care industry. So women, the willing and unknowing, plunk down big bucks because they want to believe in magic. It’s a national addiction. People everywhere want to fight aging and are looking for solutions.

If you’re going to spend money on skin care products, spend it advisedly. Make sure that you’re not being conned. Make informed decisions. Invest in products that really work. Discriminate. Know how the channel of distribution affects the quality of the merchandise, and the price that you pay. Understand how ads are delicately written and carefully crafted.

The first thing we notice about any human being is their face. Maintaining clean, healthy skin is absolutely essential for self-esteem, confidence and a good attitude about life. Having healthy skin doesn’t mean you have to spend hundreds of dollars on skin care products and make-up. It’s about having a healthy lifestyle and upholding disciplined cleansing habits that will make flawless skin possible.

Healthy Diet. By avoiding greasy, fatty foods that will make your face break out, your skin will be less oily and more resistant to blemishes. Some foods that cause your skin to break our include pizza, French fries, chocolate and most other types of candy, fast food and soft drinks. You don’t have to give up these special treats completely, just eat them in moderation.

Hydration and Exercise. Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water a day – along with regular exercise like walking, jogging, bicycling or getting involved in sports – will make a tremendous impact on the way your skin looks and feels. Exercise will increase blood flow, making your dull skin glow like new. It will also make your feel more energized and generally happier. Keeping your body in shape allows for less stress and a feeling of achievement.

Sun Exposure. Protect yourself from sun damage, skin cancer and premature wrinkles by using a moderate strength sunscreen. Too much sun can blister your lips, leaving them red and sore. Sunburned skin can peel, leaving your skin patchy and sensitive. Monitor how much time you spend in the sun and use good judgment when deciding if you’ve had enough for the day.

Regular Cleaning Routine. Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize – this daily routine should carry you on your way toward healthier skin in no time. Choose a gentle cleansing solution that works for your specific type of skin, whether it’s dry, oily or normal. Using your selected product, cleanse your face in a gentle circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water, as hot water drains the skin’s moisture.

The next step is to exfoliate. A granular exfoliant product is often especially effective in smoothly rough areas and rubbing away dead skin cells, allowing the face to be better moisturized.

After exfoliating, use a toner or astringent to tighten skin and remove any make-up or cleanser residue. An alternative to toner or astringent would be a facial masque at least once a week, which tackles clogged pores while also firming skin and leaving it soft and silky.

The final step is to apply a moisturizer that will protect against dry skin. People with oily skin don’t have to moisturize as often as those who have dry, normal or combination skin.

You could spend hundreds of dollars on skin care products and only achieve clear, healthy skin for a short period of time. A daily skin care routine, along with a healthy diet, drinking lots of water, exercising and protecting your skin from sun damage, will help you achieve healthy skin for a lifetime.

Part One – Acne Defined

When most of us think of acne we think of adolescence. Acne has been becoming a more persistant adult problem. But teenagers do make up the largest percent of acne sufferers,. Acne probles are common in more tha a quarter of the male population and half of the female population. These figures seem to be climbing.

Acne Defined

Acne is composed of skin blemishes which are associated with the accumulation of sebum in hair follicles, the tiny holes we commonly call pores. Sebum is produced by sebaceous glands deep within each pore and it can take two or three weeks before it reaches the skins surface. Sebum is the oil that keeps your skin moist and supple. As the skin regenerates itself, old cells die, mix with your skins natural oils and slough off.

Sometimes dead cells become sticky, clumping together and can plug the exits of pores. This traps oil and bacteria inside the pore which then swells as your skin continues its normal oil production and skin sloughing which can not escape. A bacteria infection can ensue and results in a skin blemish.

Types of Acne

There are basically two different categories of acne, non inflammatory and inflammatory.

Non Inflammatory Acne

A closed white head occurs when the plug in the pore remains unseen below the surface of the skin. These lesions commonly appear on the skin as small, whitish bumps.

An open whitehead or blackhead occurs when the plug enlarges and pushes through the surface of the skin. The plugs dark appearance is due to a buildup of melanin, the skin’s dark pigment, not dirt as commonly thought.

Inflammatory Acne

A papule is the mildest form of inflationary acne. It appears on the skin as firm, small pink bumps. These are usually tender to the touch, and are often considered an intermediary step between non-inflationary and inflationary acne.

Pustules are small lesions that are clearly inflamed and contain visible pus. They appear with a yellowish or whitish center and red around the base. The inflation is generally caused by chemical irritation from sebum components Such as free fatty acids and infection is almost always present.

Nodules or cysts are large, pus-filled, inflamed lesions lodged deep in the lower layers of the skin. They develop when a comedon has ruptured and its contents have leaked into the surrounding tissue below the surface of the skin (often the results of an unsuccessful squeeze). The most severe form of acne may persist for weeks or months with their contents hardening into a deep cyst. Both cysts and nodules can leave deep scares.

Acne conglobata is rare, but a serious form of inflammatory acne that primarily develops on the chest buttocks and back. In addition to nodules and pustules, there may be severe bacterial infection which can track latteraly through the layers of the skin and cause boils or furuncles.

Who Gets Acne? More than 90% of all adolescents are affected by acne, and nearly 50% of adults. It is one of the most wide spread medical conditions in the world.

Something To Help

Fortunately you do not have to live with acne. There is always something you can do to improve the health of your skin. Of course your doctor’s advice can be invaluable, but don’t forget to discuss the possible side effects that normally accompany the long term use of drugs. A naturalpathic doctor will give you other alternatives. There are many plants with anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties. And a third way to find solutions is to do a search on the internet. There are several direct sales companies with quality products promising to help acne problems.

As winter winds and cold, dry air dehydrate our skin—what’s a woman to do?  Slather their skin with moisturizers, right?

Wrong.

A moisturizer is like “dessert” to your skin—it feels good, nice and smooth, but does little to nothing for your skin cells that lay beneath the surface—the source of skin aging.  That’s why it’s important to remember the “main course” of skin care—products that activate, stimulate and protect your skin.

During winter, it’s especially important to:

Exfoliate.  The dull, dry skin cells on the surface of the skin should be exfoliated, and there are a couple of reasons for this.  (1) Exfoliation allows younger, healthier skin cells can emerge, (2) you can enhance the penetration of other skin care products, because they don’t get trapped by the superficial cells.  If anti-aging products (and these are generally the pricey ones!) remain on the surface of your skin, they’re pretty useless. Allow them to work, and work hard!  (3) Exfoliation deep cleans the pores, and helps reduce excess oils. During the summer, I recommend exfoliating twice a week, but during the winter, every day.  Use Exfoliating Polish in the shower; it’s easier to rinse off that way.
Protect.  During winter the days are shorter, but UVB rays will stay damage your skin, and UVA rays will penetrate through windows and go straight to the dermis—where they can create permanent damage .  If you’re headed to the mountains for skiing (or even if you’re a ski bunny), remember that UV rays are intensified by snow and high altitude.  Taking a vacation from sunscreen during the winter is a big mistake.

Avoid the use of hot water.  It may feel good for a few minutes (no showers longer than 10 minutes, please), but will dehydrate your skin, deplete the natural oils and create parched, chapped, dry skin.
Your face and hands need extra care during the winter, because they have greater exposure.  Be sure to exfoliate and hydrate!
With shorter days and colder temperatures, most of us spend more time indoors during the winter, where the air is warmer, but also dryer.  Use a humidifer, don’t overuse space heaters (including your car), and drink plenty of water.
Escape.  These are stressful times.  Find time for yourself.  Take a warm bath, read a good book, do something just for yourself.  I like to study foreign languages, especially French, because it’s a brief respite from the real world and 24-hour news.  Do something that you enjoy for short, daily escapes.

While you take care of everyone else this holiday season, be sure to take care of yourself (and your skin!)

Avene is a product line created for individuals with sensitive skin who may have recently had a skin condition become reactive. It seems recently there have been more cases of skin issues than ever before, often leaving those affected being unable to treat themselves or use most products as they react to the products they attempt to use. Avene was created for individuals who are unable to use other products, focusing specifically on their needs in order for them to be able to care for their skin without having to sacrifice the products which could help them.

Avene skin care products can help an individual with sensitive skin by offering a wide range of available products which target multiple needs. For instance, anti-aging from Avene can help an individual remove signs of aging without the harmful chemicals which are so widely used today. Sunscreens are also important as they help protect skin from the harmful effects of the sun, which can advance signs of aging and create brown sun spots on the skin. These spots even have the ability to become much worse as you age but they can be treated or you can simply be prepared and make sure that these spots are something that you will not get or have to deal with as a part of your life and your skin.

Avene also has a great cosmetic line focusing on different needs including cleansers, make-up concealers, moisturizers, and make-up. Each of these products is aimed at sensitive skin and the needs of the body by meeting what each person needs without adding harmful chemicals. Avene cosmetics are especially important not only due to the amount of allergies and reactions which are transpiring, but also because of helping the way that you feel about yourself and your skin. Emotions are important for your health and when you skin is healthy and taken care of it can help you too become healthier and have an easier time taking care of yourself and feeling great about the way that you look at all times.

When a person feels self conscious about their skin they may also feel self conscious while around other people. This can cause a great deal of embarrassment and can make a person feel uncomfortable having company, or even worse, have them decide that they would rather give up a part of their social life. Nothing should get to stand in your way and Avene tries to make sure that nothing can not even sensitive skin. This means that when you go shopping for you skin care products, rather then roaming down the isles trying to find something you skin might be able to handle or trying product after product that you have a reaction to you can simply look for Avene. Feel the comfort of Avene and feel comfortable knowing that it will work and that you will not have to miss any social engagement due to the way that you feel about your skin or how it looks at the time.

Back when I was young, a long time ago, mens skin care products generally consisted of shaving cream. Skin care for men wasn’t heard of, and men couldn’t have cared less.

Now mens skincare products are hot, and selling extremely well, and for good reason. Mens fashion/grooming is part of the new paradigm for men.

All those years ago things were different. Men were men. They ate a lot of steak, went camping and shooting a lot and only visited the doctor if they were about to die. Mens skin care? What was that? I use shaving cream don’t I?

Mens fashion was a new pair of jeans. And maybe a new pair of boots every now and then, when their toes were showing through the old ones. To go with the new pair of jeans.

Men’s grooming, and mens fashion, and for that matter mens health, have come a long way. I, for one, now visit the doctor regularly for checkups, keep fit, and take care of my skin with good quality mens skincare products. My father has had skin cancer and I need to take care of my skin as much as anyone.

That’s not because I want to keep up with the latest mens fashion, I’m way too old for fashion. It’s because I recognise that taking care of our skin, for a man, is a health issue. For my part, after being burned many times before anyone even knew how bad sunburn was for the skin, taking care of my skin now may prevent fatal skin cancer.

It’s never too late.

Mens skin care is also about looks though for many modern men. Mens fashion in the 21st century is also about anti aging and youthful looks, like it is for women.

It’s not good enough now for men to use a good shaving cream, buy themselves a new pair of jeans every other year, and eat steak every second night.

There’s now available a wide range of high quality mens grooming and anti aging and skin care products. Men can take care of their hair with good hair care products, nail care products help take care of their nails, and good skin care products help men take care of their skin. Mens grooming products are slowly catching up to womens grooming products with increasing sales and increased quality.

However note that I said “high quality” skin care products for men.

The “high quality” part is extremely important. There are many skin care and anti aging products on the market that are not “high quality”.

Unfortunately big brand name mens skin care products and mens anti aging products share many characteristics with popular womens anti aging products.

They don’t work very well, or at all, and are overpriced, often by necessity to pay for all that overhyped TV advertising using highly paid big name stars.

But worst of all, many of the ingredients used in skin care products in general can be suspect or downright harmful to our health, and skin. And that includes popular mens skin care products too.

Luckily there are companies that are producing highly effective and very cost competitive natural skin care products, including mens anti aging products.

And they are highly cost competitive too, primarily because these companies don’t spend up big on TV advertising, which is why you’ve probably never heard of them.

They produce natural skin care products using natural non toxic ingredients, and these include natural mens skin care products and mens anti aging products.

So if you’re a man, or for that matter a woman who knows a man who needs to take better care for his skin, rejoice.

There are excellent natural mens skincare products available, no toxic that work extremely well.

And modern men are using them more and more, and seeing the difference.

Meet a group of teenagers and ask them what type of skin problems they are suffering from. Most of them would answer ‘Acne’. And ask the same question to people who are in their 20’s or 30’s. The common answers would be dark lips, wrinkles and stretch marks. Let’s look at the problems one by one.
Acne is a skin disease. It may affect both males and females during their teenage. The main cause of acne is overproduction of keratin and sebum. Overly produced keratin and sebum block skin pores and Propionibacterium acnes, an anaerobic bacterium, grows their resulting Acne. If proper care is not taken acne may leave permanent black spots.
Overproduction of sebum takes place due to the hormonal changes in teenage years. Hence, some skin specialists suggest hormonal treatment for Acne. But right skin care can solve the problem easily.
Once the excess sebum is scrubbed out, the pores won’t get clogged and the bacterial won’t get the chance to infect your skin. Hence, the right acne skin care can help you get rid of acnes. Natural acne skin care is often preferred over other acne treatments.
While selecting skin treatment products one should be very careful. Skin care products should be selected based on the skin type of the individuals. The same skin care regime may not be suitable for two different persons if they possess different skin types.
Thus you need to know your skin type in order to determine the best treatment for your acne. There are basically three types of skins, the most common being the combination skin.
Common Skin Types and Natural Acne Skin Care
Oily Skin: Oily skins are typically shiny and attract dust and dirt easily. Oily skins are generally more prone to blackheads and acne hence it is suggested not to use any moisturizer but to have a good face wash and cleanser. Cleanser removes the excess oil from skin and washes off the existing dirt particles that block sebaceous glands. It is also advised to use alcohol-based products to dry out oily skin.
Dry Skin: This type of skin looks dry and peels off frequently. Dry skin is more sensitive to sun, wind and cold, where as it is less prone to acne usually. However, acne on dry skin is not uncommon at all. People with dry skin are advised to use moisturizers to lubricate their skin and avoid alcohol based products that dry out skin very fast. Use natural acne skin care that is creamy if you have a dry skin.
Combination Skin: This is the most common skin type where the oily T-zone comes into play. The T-Zone runs vertically by your nose and chin and horizontally by the forehead. Thus those having combination skin usually require combination products.
Finding the right skin treatment products is easy once you know what type of skin you have. Apart from acne treatment a regular skin care regime is also necessary to keep your skin in good health.
As mentioned in the introduction, early wrinkles, dark circles and stretch marks are some of the skin problems. People often ask whether they need to undergo plastic surgery to remove ugly stretch mark. Right stretch mark removal products can help women get rid of those ugly marks.
Regular skin care is what everybody needs. A sound skin care regime can help people stay away of all types of skin problems including acne, dark lips, wrinkles and premature aging.

Our skin is one of the most vital structures of the human body. It acts as shield between the internal and external. Our skin is what others perceive us to be! It is our outer image, yet it plays a vital role in deciding how we feel on the inside. Our skin is not one organ but rather made up of groups of organs. While each area of our skin responds to its own specific stimulus. Various parts of our skin may be affected differently due to many factors. Once our skin is affected it results in various dermatological problems like wrinkles.

Wrinkles are connected with the dermatological clock of the skin. But there are various other external reasons why wrinkles are a product of harmful influences on the skin; like that of the damage due to sun which causes premature aging of the skin. Harmful effects of the sun and other environmental factors usually cause the skin to lose its elasticity and firmness. It is also brought about by the loss of fatty tissues in the skins innermost layer.

Skin creams are generally used to help rejuvenate the skin. Various skin care products for different skin types are created to help stimulate the skins regeneration process. Creams generally have substances that help the skin to regain its lost fatty tissues and elasticity. Skin experts agree that topical creams are best solutions for wrinkles. Creams contain special components that target areas to quicken the skin to produce collagen and elasticity. These are 2 key elements that are required for quickening skin regeneration.

One must consider carefully which cream one chooses to apply to help the skin regeneration process. Creams must be easily absorbed by the skin. Creams that are able to penetrate the skin will work faster and offer better results. Once the cream penetrates the inner skin it will be able to help generate the vital elements that are used to regenerate the skin. While purchasing a cream you must consider the ingredients it contains. Not all creams are the same. Some may contain substances like oils and anti-oxidants such as the grape seed that will help re-hydrate the skins natural moisture.

Always look out for Vitamin C as a vital component of your skin regeneration cream. It is a known fact that vitamin C not only helps the bones and teeth but is vital to combat and prevent wrinkles. Vitamin C is known to produce collagen, which is the protein that contributes to the skins strength, it also helps to work against the skin ruptures caused by the harmful rays of the sun.

There are ways that almost anyone can have beautiful skin they can be proud of; providing you are prepared to learn a few facts about skin care and implement them routinely, improvements will be seen. Part of the problem with Western women is the need for immediate results, always expecting the cosmetic surgeon to save the day using invasive procedures that often end in failure. But more natural beauty care products are the order of the day now and whilst they may take a little longer to produce results, they are longer lasting and have other health benefits.

The days of cold creams and the like are over with modern formulations light years ahead of what they once were. It is important to remember that skin covers our whole body and not just our faces so it is important to make sure that we maintain this.

The first and most important step in any skin care regimen is to cleanse your face to remove any makeup, dust and bacteria that it has encountered throughout the day. Removing the dirt and other materials from your face requires the cleaner to be placed on a soft pad and gentle massaged into the skin finally being removed with warm water.

Applying toner rids your skin of any excess cleanser and restores your skins natural PH balance. Lotions and moisturizers massaged into the skin help to reduce the effect of wrinkles and ensure the skin is more supple. By using this beauty care product it will help lock in the moisture something which helps to maintain the skins beauty and condition.

Once or twice weekly you should treat your skin with an exfoliant or natural peel to remove dead skin cells and to deep cleanse your skin as part of you skin care routine. On days when you are treating your skin you should cleanse, treat and then tone to make sure that you remove all traces of the exfoliant or peel that you are using.

Eye creams are used to help maintain the delicate tissue surrounding your eye, these are specially formulated beauty care products that reduce the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles or to help improve elasticity and firmness. Taking some form of daily exercise and drinking plenty of water are two things you don’t need to spend a fortune on but will really improve the skin tone and feel. We often forget how much we rely on but take our skin for granted but if it becomes damaged it can lead to all sorts of problems.

Organic skin care products are the ideal way to care for your skin as well as your family’s skin, especially infants and children. But when shopping for organic skin care products you must be aware that there is no regulation over the term “organic” in the skincare industry.

Manufacturers can make claims that their products are natural or organic without certification.

Many companies use marketing tactics like listing “from coconut” of “from olives” in the ingredients to make you believe the product is natural.

The truth is, they can extract anything from a natural source and process it so that, chemically speaking, it no longer has any relationship with the original source.

This is why it is so important for you to buy only products certified by the USDA. You must see the USDA logo in order to be one hundred percent certain that your skin care products are organic.

Some of the most trusted companies like Jason, Avalon Organics and even Burt’s Bees are beginning to allow ingredients such as parabens, nanoparticles and fragrance to creep into their products.

Companies and products that were once original and authentic, in an effort to compete in the trendy organic market, have comprimised integrity for profit.

I could write for day about all of the information needed to enable you in making the most informed decision for you and your family’s skin care. The amount of information can be overwhelming to say the least.

I recommend the Environmental Working Groups “Skin Deep” cosmetic database. The EWG continuously updates and holds the cosmetics world to a higher standard.

They offer powerful statistics and extensive resources allowing you to build your own knowledge base. EWG’s database allows you to search for a specific product and returns detailed information about the ingredients and side effects.

The rating system for the evaluative safety is as follows:

0-2: Low Hazard 3-6: Moderate Hazard 7-10: High Hazard

Also listed are toxic and hazardous chemicals and potential health risks associated with usage of the product that contains such chemicals…I encourage you to use this resource as we all have to search for our favorite products and see how they measure up.

Beauty cosmetics are another issue entirely. Organic Makeup? Did you know there was such a thing? There is, but…beware. Regulations of the cosmetics industry are so loose that it is difficult to trust any company’s statements to be legitimate. That is topic best left for another article.

But, quality skin care is not a replacement for a healthy diet and lifestyle. Your skin is part of the big picture of overall health and wellness.

Your skin is a direct reflection of what your body is experiencing internally. The more stress in your life and the less quality nutrition you put into your body the more you will experience problems with your skin.

Your skin grows from the inside out, so your overall nutritional levels really matter.

Skin is the largest organ of the body. Your skin protects your internal organs from infection, injury and helps to detoxify your entire body through perspiration. The healthier your skin, the better barrier it provides to viruses and bacteria.

Skin produces and stores Vitamin D, a crucial element of a healthy immune system. And let’s not forget how your skin simply (and not so simply) protects you from extreme changes in temperature by controlling the heat flow between you and your environment.

Now knowing that our skin is such a vital and sensitive organ of our body, why are we so careless in how we care for it? In a society so obsessed with fighting the signs of aging, why are we so quick to resort to extreme measures such as surgery and chemicals?

When it comes to skin care, it is never too soon to start. You should start taking care of your skin as early as possible so that you can avoid wrinkles as you age. Even if you are older and wrinkles have already started to rear their heads on your face, you can get modern skin care products that will reduce the signs of aging and will make your skin look years younger.

When you are looking for skin care products, you have to take the type of skin that you have into consideration. This means that you should focus on your skin type and choose skin care that is made to take care of your skin.  If you have oily skin, then choose products that are made for this type. It’s the same with dry or combination skin. It is very important, when it comes to skin care, to use the right products that are made for your skin type. Since everyone has different skin types, the same skin care products are not the proper treatment for everyone.

In addition, you need to consider that different parts of your face need special care. This is especially true when it comes to the area around your eyes. You need to take care to use serums that will treat this very thin area of skin that is more prone to wrinkles than other areas. You should choose skin care that not only focuses on the face, but the entire face and areas that can be more prone to problems.

Look for skin care products that focus on cleansing as well. Without proper cleansing, you are not doing much good for your facial skin. When you look for products for skin care, choose those that encompass both cleansing to protecting. Just putting cream on your face is not enough. You have to make sure that all of your pores have been properly cleaned out from a good cleansing treatment. If you are using soap on your face, you are making a mistake. This will dry out your skin and will also cause you to develop wrinkles earlier.

If you have some signs of aging, you can reduce them by using skin care that is made to reduce the signs of aging. There has been quite a bit of development in this field in recent years. You can make yourself look many years younger simply by choosing the right skin care products and using them.

Of course, it stands to reason that you have to use the skin care products regularly in order for them to work. By choosing a good skin care regimen and practicing it daily, you will be helping to keep your skin smooth and supple as well as wrinkle free. You can find skin care solutions that consist of cleansers as well as anti wrinkle serums by shopping online. These skin care products also focus on different types of skin so that you can get the right products that are made especially for you.

Elemis skin care focuses particularly on problems generated from aging, yet also offer a variety of treatments in other fields. The Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is an example of one of the anti-aging successful products that the Elemis makes. Tested clinically in a wide range of experiments, the Pro-Collagen Cream has been determined extremely useful in reducing wrinkles depth, considerably. While causing the decrease in wrinkles the cream increases the quantities of hydration and moisture by 10 precent.

The secret to Elemis skin care is in its combination of natural and organic elements. The dynamic mixture of padina pavonica and absolutes, gingko biloba, and liposomes works magic on skin. What exactly is padina pavonica, you ask? Well, it’s actually a product that comes from marine algae. In this case, it comes from a brown algae that exists in the Mediterranean Sea. It works on improving the firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Another way of thinking of this Elemis skin care product is viewing it as something that is not based on artificial chemicals but on nature’s own elements. Anti-aging is only one aspect of Elemis’ skin care. Utilizing the identical principles of using natural materials as the foundation for their skin care product, Elemis also produces creams and other products that cleanse and tone your skin, exfoliate, mask, and moisturize.

The plants and products from nature that Elemis utilizes include honey, mimosa, bergamot, ginkgo biloba, chamomile, avocado, lavender, blackcurrant, sandalwood, comfrey, jasmine, ylang ylang, cardamon, and orange. The skin care products also detoxify your skin and combats environmental effects. Environmental effects examples are pollution, sun, poor diet and illness.

There is an old saying regarding beauty being only skin deep. Whether or not this is true, the affect that Elemis has on your skin goes far beyond beauty. It involves your health. Healthy skin basically breathes better, bringing in the energizing forces of the elements surrounding us, such as air and light. It touches on your own sense of well being. This can produce a buoyant feeling that lifts your spirits. If you feel good about the face you present to the world, you absolutely feel more confident.

Sometimes a little self-indulgence can go a long way. When you take the time to nourish your skin, you also take the time to think of how valuable you are to the world.

Skin Care Is More Than Just Vanity

Some people are more fortunate than others when it comes to how good their skin looks but how they achieve this is not a secret; by performing some simple skin care techniques every day, results should be seen quite quickly. For a long time now, cosmetic surgery seemed to be the preferred method but times are changing and women are learning that more natural techniques are available. The best thing about modern beauty care products other than their cost is the fact they are generally natural so they cannot harm the person who is using them.

In the past these beauty care products might have had a poor image being confined to anti-aging lotions and cold creams. Today some of these products are among the most important available to help make the skin look young and healthy. The importance of our skin cannot be stressed enough and like other areas of our body, requires a little care and attention.

Part one in your daily skin care regime is to use a cleansing agent to remove all the pollutions like smoke, dust and make-up that our skin has to put up with on a daily basis. To do this requires a gentle cleanser which must be used with cotton pads moving the wet pads in a circular motion around the face until all areas have been done. Then once you have washed with warm water, use a soft towel to dab your skin until it is dry.

Cleansers are very good at removing the contaminants from your face but they are prone to affect the PH of your skin so you will need to use a toner to restore the PH level once again. To reduce the number of wrinkles and help make your skin soft and supple, use moisturizing creams or lotions once you have finished with the skin toner. This beauty care product step helps to seal in your treatment and to lock in the natural moisture in your skin.

As a regular aspect of your skin care regime you should use a natural peel or exfoliant once or twice a week which helps remove dead skin which can clog the pores. You must not forget however, that when you carry out this exfoliation you make sure that you continue with a complete cleanse and tone afterwards.

Skin around the eye is very delicate and needs to be looked after so special beauty care product creams help alleviate the dark rings and puffiness that some people suffer, ensuring the skin is much more supple and youthful looking. Often forgotten, water is an important aspect that provides many beneficial properties to help the skin, like hydration and removing unwanted toxins. It is not a good idea to forget the important role our skin plays in our overall health and of course how we look, so taking care of it is not just about vanity.
